Since 2015, Bagheri Welding Engineering & Inspection has been a trusted leader in welding engineering and inspection services. As part of our continued growth and commitment to expanding our global capabilities, we are proud to announce our new name: Canada Welding Engineering Corporation (CWE Group).

While our name has changed, our leadership, engineering team, and commitment to excellence remain the same. Clients can continue to expect the same reliable service, on-time delivery, and technical expertise we’ve consistently delivered—now under the CWE Group banner.

Board Members

Kevin Bagheri, P.Eng – Director

Kevin earned BSc. Degrees in Metallurgical Engineering and his MSc. Degrees in Welding Engineering. He is a registered professional engineer in Ontario and British Columbia. Kevin has more than 20 years extensive industrial experience in welding design, welding engineering development, NDE weld inspection and many years experiences in training NDE inspectors and weld technologists. He is the author of numerous technical papers and training books covering NDE processes, welding engineering development, and materials testing.He is a lecturer at University of Ottawa and teaching welding design, fabrication, and quality control course for Mechanical Engineering students.

Niloo Amiri – Administration Manager

A results-driven Engineering & Inspection Administration Manager with extensive experience overseeing administrative operations in NDT Non-Destructive Testing environments. Skilled in optimizing workflows, managing budgets, and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with company and industry standards. Recognized for strong leadership, strategic planning, and a commitment to continuous improvement in safety, quality, and security.

David Malcolm McKillop Twigg – NDT Engineer

David Malcolm McKillop Twigg has over thirty years’ experience as an NDT technician, and eighteen years as a professional engineer with over twenty years’ experience in corrosion prevention, material selection, failure analysis, inspection and quality assurance related to operation of mining , chemical, petrochemical, hydroelectric, sewage and water process plants, pulp and paper mills, food industry, military facilities, power generation, utilities, transportation industries and other federal, provincial and municipal government departments utilizing both metallic and non-metallic materials.

Jason E. Martin –Certified Inspector

Jason E. Martin is a certified CGSB 48.9712 and ASNT inspector with extensive training and credentials, including UT Level I (Ultrasonic Testing), MT Level 2 (Magnetic Particle Testing), and PT Level II (Penetrant Testing). With a strong foundation in non-destructive testing (NDT) methods, Jason ensures the integrity and safety of materials and components across a variety of industries. His attention to detail and commitment to quality make him a trusted professional in the field of inspection.

Daniel Hunter – Certified Inspector

Daniel Hunter is a skilled and certified inspector specializing in Visual Testing (VT Level I) and Penetrant Testing (PT Level II). With a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to quality assurance, he plays a vital role in detecting surface flaws and ensuring the integrity of materials and components. Daniel’s expertise supports safety and compliance across a range of industrial applications, making him a reliable asset in any inspection team.
